Welcome to Grocify!

 

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Grocify, and services (collectively, the "Service" or "Platform"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all other policies posted on our platform. Please read them carefully.

Grocify is operated by Ahsan Waris, Zakaria Amanullah and Yahya Amanullah located in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, India.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise accessing or using the Grocify Service, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Service.

2. Account Registration

  • You may be required to register an account to access certain features of the Service.

  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

  • You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify Grocify immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

  • Grocify reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided during the registration process or thereafter proves to be inaccurate, not current, or incomplete.

3. Orders and Payments

  • Product Availability: All products displayed on the Grocify Platform are subject to availability. While we strive to ensure accuracy, product listings may not always reflect real-time stock.

  • Pricing: All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes, unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

  • Order Acceptance: Your order constitutes an offer to purchase a product or service. All orders are subject to acceptance by Grocify. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing or product description, or issues with payment.

  • Payment Methods: We accept various payment methods, including Cash on Delivery (COD), online payment gateways (e.g., UPI, credit/debit cards). Specific payment options will be displayed at checkout.

  • Order Confirmation: Upon successful order placement and payment (if applicable), you will receive an order confirmation via SMS or email.

  • Minimum Order Value: Grocify has a minimum order value for home delivery services, that is 30 Rupees.

4. Delivery Policy

  • Delivery Area: Our delivery services are currently limited to specific areas within Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. Please check our website or app for eligible delivery pin codes.

  • Delivery Time: Your order will be delivered within 2 hours. While we strive to adhere to chosen slots, unforeseen circumstances (e.g., traffic, weather) may cause delays. We will endeavor to inform you of any significant delays.

  • Delivery Charges: Delivery charges will 30 rupee if order is less than 99 rupee and free of cost on any order above 99 rupee, if any, will be clearly indicated at the time of checkout.

  • Recipient Presence: It is the customer's responsibility to ensure someone is available at the delivery address to receive the order. If no one is available, redelivery charges may apply, or the order may be cancelled.

  • Verification: Grocify or its delivery personnel may request age verification or identification for certain products (e.g., restricted items, if applicable).

6. Return and Refund Policy

  • Damaged/Incorrect Items: In case of receipt of damaged, expired, or incorrect products, please notify our customer support within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence on our WhatsApp. We will arrange for a replacement or refund after verification.

  • Perishable Goods: Returns for perishable goods (e.g., fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy) are subject to immediate inspection upon delivery. Issues must be reported at the time of delivery or within a very short stipulated window.

  • Refund Process: Refunds will be processed within1 business days. For online payments, refunds will be credited back to the original payment method. For COD orders, refunds may be issued as store credit or via other mutually agreed methods.

  • Non-Returnable Items: Certain items, such as personal hygiene products or items with tampered seals, may not be eligible for return.

7. Cancellation Policy

  • Customer Cancellation: You may cancel an order before it has been dispatched for delivery. Please refer to the cancellation option within your account or contact customer support for assistance. Cancellations made after dispatch may incur charges.

  • Grocify Cancellation: Grocify reserves the right to cancel an order at its sole discretion, including but not limited to reasons of product unavailability, errors in pricing, issues with delivery address, or suspicious activity. In such cases, any payment made will be refunded.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Grocify Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that might harm, abuse, or otherwise interfere with the Service or other users. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Submitting false or misleading information.

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems.

  • Transmitting any viruses or malicious code.

  • Engaging in any activity that could damage our reputation.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Grocify Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and trademarks, is the property of Grocify or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without explicit written permission from Grocify.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Grocify Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Grocify makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the Service or the information, content, materials, or products included on the Service.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grocify shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and specifically the laws of the state of Uttar Pradesh. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, India.

13. Changes to Terms

Grocify reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Platform. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
